80 Domain Name Not Working Internally New

I pretty much just want to tell my router whenever it sees a request for some made up domain name to instead just redirect to a specific ip.

Domain name not working internally. Some changes were made recently by our web designer and now we cannot access our companies webpage internally. I have to use a computer from outside the network to. Archive view return to standard view.

The ad domain name is not the same as the dns name but they are linked. Internally if i ping the domain name it replies back with the internal ip address 192 168 0 2 which is our dns and domain controller and staff are unable to browse to their website. If you have hosting with us you can check the expiry date for your hosting service from the my hosting area of your only domains user account.

I was wondering though if there isnt another easier alternative since i have no requirement whatsoever to get in from outside i e. Ad domain names are mainly used within ad operations mostly ldap queries for ad functionality while dns is rather a network level solution for name resolution on ip level to resolve the machines or application names to ip addresses. Here s what i know. The domain name server dns is not reachable. If this is an https secure address click tools click internet options click advanced and check to be sure the ssl and tls protocols are enabled under the security section.
